Membership and Application InformationApplication Deadline: December 15, 2009Internship Eligibility: High school students in the greater Dayton area are eligible to be interns for periods of one year. Duties include attending and participating in meetings, activities and trainings. Meeting times are usually late Sunday afternoons and average two meetings per month depending on pending events. Mentor (Application Form)A mentor must be a college-age individual or older who will assist and chaperone all ‘off site’ activities. A mentor may plan and run any agreed upon activity(s). This individual may also stand in for the chapter coordinator in the case of absence. The mentor will receive a stipend if funding is in place. NOTE: Reference Letters: New interns need a letter of reference from a non related adult in addition to a completed application. A letter of reference is not required for re-applying interns.
